What else do I need money for?

Surf package - for ones wishing to learn to surf (on waves):

  • equipment rental USD 10 / hour

  • training USD 30 / lesson

Excursions that are marked as "Optional" in the program are subject to additional payment if you want to participate (USD50 - 100).

Travel insurance. You may probably have it included in your health insurance plan. If not, contact your insurance company to buy it. It is pretty cheap but very useful if something unpleasant happens.

Drinks in the bars. In comparison to Europe and North America prices in the bars are relatively cheap. But the amount you spend depends on the amount you drink.

Food outside of Las Terrenas. While we are in our villa, all the food is included to the package. But during our 4 days trip around the island, it is so nice to eat in local restaurants and cafes. Prepare some cash for it.

Souvenirs, ice-cream and other "I want it right now!". Depends on you only...
